Position Summary: We are seeking Maintenance Engineers for the SIDERSA Green Steel Production Innovation Project, with the mission to optimize maintenance strategies and ensure equipment service life. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead the maintenance team and promote continuous training 2. Optimize preventive and predictive maintenance strategies 3. Coordinate and collaborate with other departments We are seeking Maintenance Engineers for the major SIDERSA Project + Applied Innovation in the Green Steel Production Industry in San Nicolás de los Arroyos. The role’s mission is to eliminate recurrence of failures in critical assets and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance strategies. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring equipment meets and exceeds its expected service life. Key responsibilities include: - Lead the maintenance team, promoting continuous training, work organization, and a collaborative, results-oriented environment. - Define asset tree taxonomy and criticality assessment. - Develop and maintain maintenance plans (Preventive, Predictive, Inspection, and Lubrication). - Monitor compliance with Preventive/Predictive Work Orders, Inspection Work Orders, and maintenance backlog. - Develop and update maintenance procedures and protocols, conduct failure analysis, track corrective actions, and prepare problem stratification reports (monthly, quarterly, and annual). - Evaluate and approve requests for new asset registrations. - Coordinate extraordinary repairs. - Develop Contingency Plans for Critical Equipment. - Train operational staff. - Coordinate and collaborate with other company departments to ensure integrated and efficient management of resources and operational needs. Requirements: Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Maintenance Engineer in production plants. Full-time availability. On-site mode.
