Job Objective Operate forklifts to transport, load, and unload fruit pallets, raw materials, and finished products within the citrus plant, ensuring safe, efficient, and orderly handling of goods in compliance with safety, quality, and food safety standards. Responsibilities The operator will be responsible for driving the forklift to move lemon pallets, raw materials, and supplies internally within the packing and storage areas, as well as loading and unloading trucks carrying fruit or finished products. They must correctly place pallets in designated storage zones, cold rooms, or dispatch areas according to instructions received, and supply production lines with materials or pallets as needed. They must also inspect the forklift’s condition before starting work and report any malfunctions or maintenance requirements. Additionally, they must comply with safety regulations during movement and maneuvering inside the plant, maintain order and cleanliness in their work area, collaborate with other departments when required, and adhere to the company’s hygiene, occupational safety, and quality standards.
