More information: http://coderio.com We are looking for a Senior Java Engineer to join a high-caliber technical team, focused on the development, evolution, and operation of backend solutions within a complex and demanding fintech environment. This position requires a candidate with hands-on experience in distributed architectures, a strong technical foundation, sound judgment when working with production systems, and openness to incorporating AI into daily work. **What You Can Expect from This Role (Responsibilities)** This is a highly demanding technical role with strong emphasis on autonomy and execution capability. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and operating Java-based backend solutions on microservice architectures, integrating messaging, asynchronous communication, resilience best practices, AWS, NoSQL, and AI within a high-complexity fintech environment. **Requirements** \+5 years of experience working with **Java** Experience in **deploying, monitoring, and operating applications** in production environments Solid experience with **microservices**, **idempotency**, **circuit breaker**, **retries**, and **CQRS** Experience with **messaging** and **asynchronous communication** between applications, ideally using **Kafka** and handling **partition key** Experience working with **NoSQL** technologies Knowledge and experience with **AWS** Experience in **fintech business processes** Experience and openness to incorporating **AI** into daily tasks Completed university degree in **Systems Engineering**, **Computer Engineering**, **Computer Science**, or equivalent fields Fluent conversational **English** level Residency in **Argentina or Uruguay** **Desirable** Knowledge of Golang Clear understanding of the difference between queue and topic Ability to read and interpret explain plan results **Benefits** Remote work model Participation in a strategic, high-impact regional project.
