More information: http://coderio.com In this role, you will join the Data Engineering team within Cencosud Argentina’s Data Management division. You will be part of a dynamic and challenging team responsible for the entire development lifecycle—from data ingestion to availability for strategic decision-making across the company’s various business units in Argentina. Your primary responsibility will be to gather, analyze, document, and ensure the integrity of data-based business requirements, working on infrastructure and solutions hosted entirely on the AWS Cloud. You will interact regularly with stakeholders, Data Stewards, and Data Engineers in a highly autonomous environment. ### **What You Can Expect From This Role (Responsibilities)** * Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into clear functional specifications. * Analyze, understand, identify, and collect data required to be extracted from transactional systems for specific requirements. * Coordinate with Data Stewards (custodians of transactional source data) to understand and identify information to be ingested into the country’s unified data environment. * Group, sort, and classify collected data based on existing structures or predefined systems. * Define data modeling approaches to be built or evolved on Argentina’s Data Lake. * Harmonize and standardize data across the country’s various business units. * Document all necessary technical details and functional requirements for subsequent implementation by data engineers. * Collaborate closely with data engineers to ensure functional requirements are fully understood and correctly implemented. * Participate in code reviews and data validations to ensure quality, maintain data integrity, and analyze data discrepancies (for both new and existing requirements). ### **Requirements** * Proven senior-level experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within Retail or other highly complex corporate environments. * Advanced proficiency in SQL for querying, analyzing, and managing source system databases (Mandatory). * Practical experience using SQL client tools (e.g., DBeaver or similar). * Knowledge of Amazon AWS cloud environment, specifically Data Lake services such as S3, Redshift, and Athena (Mandatory). * Experience with visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, MicroStrategy) and understanding of Power BI modeling concepts. * Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. * Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, analytical ability, and autonomy in problem-solving and prioritization. ### **Desirable** * Prior experience directly interacting with technical profiles (Data Engineers / Architects) and business profiles (Data Stewards / Product Owners). * In-depth knowledge of the retail business model and associated data concepts. **Benefits** * Long-term commitment, autonomy, and impact. * Strategic and highly visible role within a modern engineering culture. * Collaborative international team and strong technical leadership. * Career development, growth, and leadership opportunities within Coderio. ### **Why Join Coderio?
