Finning, a strategic partner of CATERPILLAR and a leader in equipment and service distribution, is seeking top talent to fill the role of Mechanical Technicians at its San Juan branch. The Mechanical Technician is responsible for diagnosing major components and systems, as well as performing large-scale repairs, coordinating work execution. Key responsibilities include: Cleaning parts Maintaining a clean and organized work area Collaborating with more experienced employees Ordering spare parts Analyzing written materials such as service manuals, parts catalogs, and mechanical and maintenance forms Removing and installing external components such as hoods, guards, counterweights, panels, etc. Removing and installing major components such as hydraulic valves, engines, transmissions, major machinery components, drive axles, etc. Assembling and disassembling minor components Conducting basic machine diagnostics through visual inspection of equipment) Required Qualifications: Technical secondary or higher education, specializing in automotive mechanics, electronics, or electricity. Minimum 2 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance.
