Position Summary: We are seeking an Electromechanical Technician to ensure optimal operation of machinery at a paper mill through preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance. Compliance with industrial safety and environmental regulations. At PAPELERA ROSATO SA, we are currently seeking an ELECTROMECHANICAL TECHNICIAN with experience. Primary Objective: Guarantee optimal operation of the paper production plant’s machines and equipment by performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities, minimizing unplanned downtime and ensuring a safe working environment. Responsibilities and Main Tasks: Preventive and Predictive Maintenance: Execute scheduled tasks (inspections, lubrication, adjustments, replacement of worn components) to prevent failures and extend asset life. Corrective Maintenance: Diagnose and promptly repair failures in machinery and equipment (units, motors, belts, pneumatic and electrical systems) to restore production. Mechanical tasks such as bearing replacement. Inspection and Testing: Inspect, operate, and test equipment (paper production lines, rewinders, cutters, etc.) to diagnose issues and identify potential risks. Recording and Reporting: Document all interventions performed, spare parts used, and faults identified for proper tracking. Safety and Regulations: Comply with all plant industrial safety and environmental regulations, actively contributing to a safe working environment. Requirements: Academic Qualification: Diploma as Industrial Mechanical Technician, Electromechanical Technician, or related field. Professional Experience: Minimum 2\-5 years of experience in similar roles within industrial environments, preferably in the paper, pulp, or continuous-process industries. Technical Knowledge: Solid knowledge of mechanics, electricity, electronics, and pneumatics. Ability to interpret electrical diagrams and technical manuals.
