This role is designed for an engineer who already understands that modern software development is changing — and who actively uses AI as a core part of their engineering workflow. This is not about simply using Copilot. We're looking for a builder with strong product thinking, solid engineering fundamentals, and the ability to orchestrate AI tools such as **Cursor, Claude Code, agentic workflows, MCP servers, and LLM\-based development flows** to build high\-quality software faster and more strategically. You'll work across the full product lifecycle, from architecture and backend services to frontend experiences, AI\-assisted prototyping, testing, documentation, and production\-ready delivery. **What You'll Be Doing** ------------------------ * Lead end\-to\-end development of complete product features, from architecture and database design to polished user interfaces. * Build scalable, maintainable applications using modern fullstack technologies. * Use AI\-assisted development tools to accelerate implementation, refactoring, test generation, debugging, and documentation. * Orchestrate AI agents and advanced development workflows while maintaining strong human review and technical accountability. * Design and maintain **Model Context Protocol — MCP — servers** to allow AI tools to interact securely with technical systems and business data. * Validate AI\-generated code to ensure quality, security, performance, and maintainability before production deployment. * Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to rapidly prototype and validate ideas. * Contribute to development standards, reusable AI workflows, and engineering practices that improve team productivity. * Work with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, containers, and production environments. * Stay current with emerging AI development tools, LLM capabilities, software engineering trends, and security best practices. **What You Bring** ------------------ * 8\+ years of hands\-on experience in fullstack software engineering. * Strong experience with **TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, NestJS, and Python / FastAPI**. * Solid understanding of software architecture, system design, APIs, databases, and scalable application development. * Advanced experience with **PostgreSQL**, ideally including **pgvector** or semantic search capabilities. * Experience with **Redis** or similar caching/data structure technologies. * Hands\-on experience with cloud platforms such as **AWS or Azure**. * Familiarity with containers and orchestration tools such as **Docker** and Kubernetes. * Strong testing mindset, including experience with tools such as **Playwright, Jest, Pytest**, or similar. * Experience using AI\-assisted development tools such as **Cursor Agent Mode, Claude Code, Windsurf**, or similar platforms. * Strong understanding of prompt engineering, context management, and AI\-assisted software delivery. * Familiarity with **RAG architectures, agent orchestration, LangGraph, CrewAI**, or LLM API integrations. * Awareness of token usage, AI model costs, performance trade\-offs, and privacy risks. * Strong judgment to evaluate, reject, or improve AI\-generated outputs when needed. * English level B2/C1 for technical collaboration in global teams. **Nice to Have** ---------------- * Experience building AI\-powered products or internal developer tools. * Experience designing MCP servers or custom AI workflow integrations. * Knowledge of secure AI usage policies, data privacy, and intellectual property protection. * Experience with DevSecOps practices. * Experience working in high\-autonomy, product\-oriented teams. * Exposure to multi\-agent development workflows. * Experience with performance optimization in AI\-assisted development environments. * Strong interest in the future of software engineering, AI\-native development, and human\-in\-the\-loop engineering practices. **What Darwoft Offers** ----------------------- * Contractor agreement with payment in USD * 100% remote work * Argentina's public holidays * English classes * Referral program * Access to learning platforms **Explore this and other opportunities at:** -------------------------------------------- **www.darwoft.com/careers**
