Join our team! At X-28 Alarms, we are currently seeking an Infrastructure Specialist for our IT Department. The person in this role will be responsible for ensuring the availability, security, and performance of the organization’s technological infrastructure—both on-premise and in the cloud—through the management, monitoring, and optimization of hardware, network, virtualization, and cloud service resources. Key responsibilities include: Managing servers, networks, virtualization systems, and cloud services, ensuring their proper operation, availability, and timely updates. Implementing monitoring tools and metrics to anticipate incidents, improve capacity, and guarantee compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs). Applying and maintaining up-to-date security policies, access controls, patch management, and backup procedures, aligning practices with internal regulations and industry best practices. Keeping technical documentation current—including architecture diagrams, configurations, operational manuals, and contingency plans—to ensure traceability and continuity of knowledge. Conducting root cause analysis, documenting corrective actions, and coordinating resolution efforts with internal teams and vendors to ensure adherence to established SLAs. Collaborating in the evaluation, planning, and implementation of new technological solutions that enhance efficiency, scalability, or security of the existing infrastructure. Working within frameworks such as ITIL and agile methodologies to ensure process order, traceability, and continuous improvement within the infrastructure area. Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00–18:00. Location: Mataderos, CABA. Employment Type: Indefinite-term contract. Requirements: Candidates should be students pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related fields (preferred). Minimum 3 years of experience in similar roles (mandatory). Project leadership experience, application of agile methodologies, problem-solving ability, and adaptability to shifting priorities are highly valued. Administration of Microsoft domain services (Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP, etc.). Networking and security: configuration and support of VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, and access points. Experience with Aruba and Fortinet is preferred. Server architectures in both on-premise and cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure. Operating systems: strong expertise in Windows Server; Linux knowledge is desirable. Virtualization: hands-on experience with VMware (knowledge of other technologies such as Hyper-V is desirable). Backup management: experience with tools such as Veeam Backup and Azure Backup. Infrastructure monitoring: experience with Zabbix, Grafana, Kibana, etc. Cloud and productivity environments: experience with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and Azure.
