We seek a service-oriented individual, results-driven, committed to process safety, with planning and follow-up capabilities, as well as flexibility and adaptability to operate effectively in dynamic environments. **What challenges will you face with us?** You will be responsible for ensuring the development, design, implementation, administration, and updating of process control infrastructure technologies, production control systems and their databases, and application of best practices in the discipline, aiming to improve downstream profitability through increased operational efficiency, performance, and availability, while considering Safety and Environmental aspects. **What will be your main responsibilities?** * Evaluate, approve, and promote the application of new technologies and tools for Optimization and Control (OyC) Resources for VP Midstream \- Downstream. * Perform or review OyC-related engineering activities corresponding to various stages of internal or third-party managed projects. * Design Control Strategies and Basic Automation Systems, and select instruments for measuring process variables. * Install, configure, parameterize, administer, and support interfaces between different automation and control systems. * Maintain control system databases. * Administer the control network and specific tools. * Support control systems and application interfaces, packages, or other systems interfacing with control systems. * Administer control networks. Coordinate specialty activities with Cybersecurity. * Participate in HAZOP studies and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) activities according to the role defined in internal regulations. * Prepare and/or review documentation for Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) for Basic Control and Automation, and execute or participate in acceptance testing. * Interpret data from process units, analyze and diagnose issues, and identify and propose solutions or improvement initiatives. * Develop, disseminate, and implement Policies, Procedures, and Design, Configuration, and Support Guidelines within the OyC domain. **What do we value?** * **Academic background:** Graduates in Chemical, Electronic, Electrical, Automation and Control Engineering, or related fields. * **Professional experience:** Minimum of **5 years** of experience in automation, industrial control systems, OT infrastructure, industrial telecommunications, SCADA systems, and industrial cybersecurity applied to industrial processes.
