Job Purpose: The purpose of this role is to ensure GMP/GLP compliance within the quality control laboratory by supervising testing of new products, proper equipment operation, and safety and hygiene areas. Additionally, the role will manage and update SOPs and comply with quality plans, including calibrations and validations. Key Responsibilities:* Evaluate routine analysis results to approve or reject finished products, raw materials, and packaging materials. * Review and assess analytical techniques used, ensuring their suitability and the validity of results. * Manage personnel activities to optimize execution timelines and ensure laboratory efficiency. * Participate in drafting and updating SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) in accordance with current regulations. * Recommend the purchase of new equipment to ensure the laboratory has the necessary resources. * Ensure continuous technical training of analysts in the department. * Supervise calibration status, expiration dates of reagents and standards, and maintain departmental resources in appropriate conditions. * Verify storage of retention samples and supervise sampling of raw materials and finished products. Profile: Education:* Degree in health-related fields (pharmaceutical degree is a plus) or related disciplines. English Level:* Advanced English. Required for participation in meetings with the global team and for following information on new product launches. Analytical Transfer and Validation:* Experience in analytical transfer and validation, ensuring compliance with protocols established by local health authorities. * Preparation of reports for local health authorities. Knowledge and Experience:* Minimum of 5 years of experience as a leader in physicochemical or microbiological analysis. * At least 8 years of experience in laboratory settings. * Ideally, experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
