Main Responsibilities: * Negotiate international freight rates—including maritime, air, and origin-based integrated logistics—as well as terms with logistics service providers. * Record rate schedules in company files and maintain them updated and accessible to internal users. * Request cost quotations for services required to support business opportunities generated by commercial executives. * Conduct periodic analysis of freight rates and origin/destination charges with local suppliers established for various traffic flows, and negotiate the most favorable terms for the company based on such analysis. * Provide technical advisory to internal users—commercial and operations teams—regarding relevant information needed to quote viable and cost-effective logistics solutions. * Conduct market research to develop new routes (rates, new suppliers) and identify new suppliers. * Analyze quotation outcomes to drive continuous improvement in negotiations. * Identify, qualify, and maintain new suppliers.
