In this role, you will contribute to identifying and selecting the most suitable and cost-effective transportation options. We seek a professional who actively participates in identifying and selecting appropriate transportation solutions aligned with business needs. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** --------------------------- * Monitor and track the transportation market and understand the variables comprising the cost structure that determine freight rates. * Apply a foundational understanding of transportation and logistics practices and procedures to support freight rate negotiations and contract terms. * Update transportation websites and databases with information on contracts, rates, freight estimates, insurance, and customer data. * Analyze current transportation operations practices to identify opportunities for process and cost improvements. * Handle basic issues and questions under direct supervision, escalating more complex matters to the appropriate personnel. * Perform other assigned tasks. #LI-Hybrid #LI-DV1 **QUALIFICATIONS** ------------------ **MINIMUM** * Advanced undergraduate student or university graduate in International Trade, Economics, Marketing, or related fields * Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience * Proficiency with technology tools (Microsoft Office Suite) * Proficiency with Power BI **PREFERRED** * Experience negotiating and contracting carriers/freight * Intermediate proficiency in English and Portuguese * Knowledge of AI
