Position Summary: The IT Project Manager 2 interacts with departments to understand technological requirements, provides consulting and support, collaborates on solutions, and supports the team. Key Responsibilities: 1. Provides technology consulting and support to various departments. 2. Collaborates with experts to deliver approved, high-quality solutions. 3. Supports the Church’s mission through technology and the gospel. The IT Project Manager 2 is a role that engages with departments and divisions within the area to understand technological requirements and needs. It provides consulting and support for those requirements. It also collaborates with solution managers, engineers, and ICS HQ analysts to ensure approved, high-quality solutions are used throughout the Church. This individual works under divine guidance to provide or support technology that advances the Church’s mission and reflects the eternal impact of the gospel. Finally, it supports the area’s ICS team by providing training and daily operational support. * Meets with assigned managers and other collaborators to understand needs, provide consulting, and deliver support throughout the entire process until completion. * Supports the area’s technology projects, including support and training for building in-house solutions using approved platforms (Power Tools). Development of some of these solutions may be required. * Develops and executes project plans to ensure solutions are delivered on time and with the highest possible quality. * Aligns with and follows approved processes to ensure product quality and consistency. * Ensures IT risks (including security, data privacy, etc.) are properly identified and addressed. * Maintains an inventory of all approved solutions within the area. * Works jointly with the ICO (Information Compliance Officer) to ensure data is handled per approved practices within the area. Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field * More than 6 years of experience in technology solution development, Technical Project Management, and/or Technology Management. * Advanced level of English, both written and spoken. * Strong and broad technological background, with understanding of industry best practices for project management. * Proven ability to build and maintain productive working relationships. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. * Leadership experience in multi-departmental organizations. * Specific credentials, certifications, or licenses: PMP certification or another recognized project management certification.
