We’re bridging two worlds, moving tow rds more sustainable energy sources, while helping to provide the energy, chemicals and resources needed now. **Job Title** · Lead, plan, and control the execution of large\-scale construction projects in the mining industry. · Ensure safe delivery within schedule, budget, and quality standards. · Guarantee high standards of productivity, constructability, and operational excellence. **Principal Responsibilities:** · **Detailed Engineering Involvement** o Integrate constructability into detailed engineering development to identify execution risks, interferences, and construction sequences. o Review and validate designs to facilitate prefabrication, modularization, accessibility, and assembly safety. o Align engineering deliverables with the construction strategy and work packages (CWP/IWP). · **Planning and Direction** o Define the comprehensive execution strategy, construction methodologies, and assembly sequences. o Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Pre\-commissioning, and Operations from early stages. o Drive the use of digital technologies such as 4D BIM, AWP, and digital twins. · **Construction Execution** o Lead on\-site construction across all disciplines: civil works, mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation. o Ensure the implementation of HSEC standards and a "zero incidents" culture. o Control physical progress, labor productivity, and contractor performance. o Guarantee the fulfillment of key execution milestones, including mechanical completion, hydraulic testing, energization, pre\-commissioning, and commissioning. · **Leadership and Teams** o Manage multidisciplinary teams of over 1,000 people, including direct employees and contractors. o Foster a culture of safety, discipline, and high performance. · **Cost and Schedule Control** o Manage construction budgets exceeding 500 MUSD. o Monitor KPIs for progress, productivity, and costs, applying timely corrective measures. · **Stakeholder Relations** o Serve as the key point of contact for the client, EPC/EPCM contractors, and regulatory authorities. o Manage relationships with communities and labor unions. **What you will bring** **R** **equirements:** · **Education:** Civil Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field). · **Experience:** o Minimum of 20 years of experience in EPC/EPCM projects within the Mining, Energy, or Oil \& Gas industries. o Experience leading EPC/EPCM projects with a CAPEX of 1 B USD or higher. o Proven experience participating in all project phases, from Detailed Engineering and Construction Execution through to Commissioning. · **Languages:** Fluent in Spanish. **Key Competencies** · Strategic and operational leadership in Detailed Engineering and Construction Execution. · Excellence in safety and HSEC management. · Ability to integrate constructability in early stages and implement it on\-site. · Global vision of large\-scale mining projects. · Innovation in construction methods and productivity.
