You will combine FastAPI, Pandas/Polars, and DuckDB with GitHub Actions and IaC via Bicep to ship reliable lakehouse solutions and reporting—apply today. **Responsibilities** * Build web services and background jobs with FastAPI * Optimize data processing and reporting using Pandas, Polars, openpyxl, and DuckDB * Architect pipelines using data lakes, medallion architecture, and star schema * Set up and maintain CI/CD workflows through GitHub Actions * Implement Azure components with Container Apps, Azure Storage, Service Bus, and SignalR * Provision and update infrastructure via Bicep on Azure or with AWS CDK or Terraform experience * Use specification\-driven development practices supported by GitHub Copilot and Claude Code * Connect and maintain orchestration and reporting flows with Airflow, dbt, or Streamlit **Requirements** * Minimum 3 years of professional work in Python development for data engineering * Expert\-level ability with Pandas, Polars, openpyxl, or DuckDB for reporting and data processing * Hands\-on experience building web services and background jobs with FastAPI * Strong grasp of pipeline modeling using data lakes, medallion architecture, or star schema * Practical experience automating builds and releases using GitHub Actions * Solid Azure development background with Container Apps, Azure Storage, Service Bus, or SignalR * Proven capability with Bicep for IaC, or transferable skills using AWS CDK or Terraform * Comfort using AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code * Understanding of orchestration/reporting tools such as Airflow, dbt, or Streamlit **Nice to have** * Knowledge of distributed processing, async workflows, or enterprise messaging patterns * Snowflake experience, including stored procedures, streams, tasks, pipes, or time travel * Experience with .NET web development using .NET Core * Familiarity with Angular or Next.js for web development
