Job Description The **Data Engineer** is a full-time remote position responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the data pipelines and infrastructure supporting **nimBOLD**’s analytics and reporting solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and optimizing **ETL (Extract, Transform, Load)** processes, implementing data models, and ensuring the quality and reliability of data sourced from multiple systems. This role requires close collaboration with analysts, software engineers, and business units to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions. Additionally, the Data Engineer will monitor process performance, troubleshoot data-related incidents, and contribute to implementing best practices in data governance, documentation, and security. **All communication, documentation, meetings, and work development are conducted in English**, making fluent professional-level English proficiency essential. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working autonomously within a distributed team and participating in dynamic, results-driven projects. Requirements * Strong expertise in data engineering, including hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure. * Proficiency in data modeling and **Data Warehousing**, with the ability to design scalable and well-structured data environments. * Practical experience with **ETL (Extract, Transform, Load)** tools and processes for integrating data from diverse sources. * Ability to perform data analysis, including querying, profiling, and interpreting information to support business decision-making. * Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms or modern data ecosystems, especially **Microsoft Azure**. * Knowledge of data governance, security, and best practices for documentation and version control. * Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary remote teams. * Advanced English proficiency (B2/C1 or higher), as the work environment, meetings, documentation, and interactions with clients and international teams are fully conducted in English. * Prior consulting experience or experience managing multiple projects simultaneously is a plus.
