SRE key responsibility is to facilitate operational support to DevOps teams. They are tasked to keep environments resilient; for this, they need to ensure that the right level of observability is in place, and they need to listen the DevOps teams to be able to provide the inputs to platform engineers who defines processes, automation and objectives at a service level. A critical aspect of the SRE is that every failure requires a detailed root cause analysis to find the reason for failure. Furthermore, corrective measures and recommendations must be introduced at a system level by PE for continuous progress in the reliability aspect. Good engineering, monitoring and automation skills are key to understand what’s happening on every piece of the ecosystem. Responsibilities: * Facilitate operational support to DevOps teams.
