The project focuses on the development and support of applications across Desktop, mWeb, iOS, and Android platforms, with over 100 specialists collaborating to enhance this sophisticated portal. The Android stream is dedicated to building and supporting a native Android app recognized as one of the top apps in its category. If you are passionate about mobile innovation, thrive on shaping technical strategy, and are ready to drive transformational impact, apply today and join our team! **Responsibilities** * Define and drive the long\-term technical vision and strategy for a next\-generation native Android application * Own the end\-to\-end architecture and implementation of complex features within a large and sophisticated mobile portal * Establish standards and best practices for integrating third\-party libraries, services, and components into the Android app * Set and enforce engineering excellence around Android Design Patterns, coding conventions, and Google's Design Guidelines * Ensure organization\-wide compliance with Google Play Developer Program Policies * Lead initiatives to optimize networking, local data caching, and multitasking performance on Android at scale * Champion and evolve Agile processes across distributed teams composed of local and remote members * Provide strategic technical leadership, mentorship, and career development for the Android team and other engineering leads * Act as a key technical partner to stakeholders and cross\-functional leadership across iOS, Mobile Web, and Desktop streams * Influence product direction, roadmap planning, and engineering culture across the mobile organization **Requirements** * 7\+ years of experience in Android development * 2\+ years of proven leadership experience, including managing or mentoring senior engineers and leads * Deep expertise in Java, App Components, and UI frameworks, with a track record of architecting large\-scale Android applications * Mastery of Android developer tools and workflows * Strong command of Android Design Patterns, coding conventions, and Google's Design Guidelines, with experience defining them at an organizational level * In\-depth knowledge of Google Play Developer Program Policies * Advanced understanding of networking, local data caching, and multitasking on Android * Extensive background in evaluating, selecting, and integrating third\-party libraries and services * Advanced proficiency in AI\-assisted ("vibe") coding, with demonstrated experience driving AI tooling adoption across teams * Strong command of Agile processes, including scaling Agile practices across multiple teams * Proven capability to lead, inspire, and grow dynamic teams composed of local and remote resources * Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills * Fluency in English, with a minimum C1 level for effective executive\-level communication **Nice to have** * Hands\-on development experience with other mobile platforms * Familiarity with Swift * Skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript * Experience contributing to engineering strategy or technical governance at the program or portfolio level
