The company is focused on scaling its digital lending platform, helping borrowers reduce debt, and has refinanced over $6B in loans to date. Role: Software Engineer (Clojure) **Tech Stack:** Clojure (primary), ClojureScript or other front\-end technologies (secondary, open to React, JS frameworks) Location: Fully remote; LATAM candidates preferred for time zone alignment Team Culture: Collaborative, low\-ego, values ownership and honesty, embraces functional programming **Key Responsibilities*** Build and maintain clean, well\-tested APIs in Clojure. * Contribute to scalable, production\-grade systems in a lending platform. * Participate actively in a fully remote, collaborative environment. * Take ownership of their work and mentor others when possible. * Provide direct, constructive feedback on PRs. * Leverage AI tools to increase productivity. **Required Experience** * At least 4 years of total software engineering experience (does not need to be 4 years of Clojure experience) * Practical, hands\-on Clojure experience (not just coursework; building in production environments) * Strong grasp of functional programming concepts (Elixir, Scala, Haskell, or Lisp experience can be relevant if combined with applied Clojure exposure) * English proficiency (can understand with ease virtually everything heard or read) * Comfort with start\-up pace and culture; high sense of ownership and accountability * Open communicator who values feedback and collaborative problem\-solving
