The Platform Engineer role focuses on designing, building, and operating internal development platforms (IDP) that enable product and development teams to deliver software securely, scalably, and efficiently across multicloud environments. The Platform Engineer acts as an enabler by creating *golden paths*, automation, and tools that reduce cognitive load for teams and ensure integrated DevSecOps practices. We are looking for curious, collaborative, and continuous improvement-oriented individuals who integrate the DevOps mindset with state-of-the-art tools and agile practices, within a multicloud environment focused on operational efficiency and adaptive governance. **Responsibilities associated with the role** Your day-to-day will be: **Functions Associated with the Role** * Design and maintain the self-service platform for development teams (Developer Hub, catalogs, golden paths). * Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines in GitLab, integrating security controls (SAST/DAST, SBOM, IaC scanning). * Implement GitOps practices (e.g., ArgoCD, RHACM) for provisioning and managing clusters in Azure, AWS, GCP, and on\-prem OpenShift. * Ensure observability standards (SLI/SLO, metrics, traces, logs) across the entire platform. * Collaborate with Strategy/Architecture, Cloud Infrastructure, DevSecOps, and FinOps teams to define reference patterns and enable their adoption. * Promote continuous improvement of Developer Experience (DX), reducing onboarding times and *time\-to\-first\-productive\-deploy*. * Document, version, and automate provisioning processes (IaC with Terraform, Ansible, Helm, etc.). **Mandatory Requirements** **Technical:** * Proven knowledge of Kubernetes * Proficiency in modern CI/CD (preferably GitLab) * Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) * Knowledge of integrated security (DevSecOps) * Understanding of multicloud or hybrid environments * "Platform as a product" mindset **Competencies** * Collaborative, autonomous, and results-oriented mindset. * Continuous improvement attitude, with initiative to innovate and propose changes. * Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities.
