More information: http://coderio.com We are looking for a backend engineer with strong technical judgment, capable of designing event-driven microservices that handle millions of requests without blinking. You will be responsible for the service layer and data pipelines, exposing critical telemetry for analytics. You must be able to engage confidently with Data Engineering teams and design scalable solutions under pressure. **What You Can Expect From This Role (Responsibilities)** This is a role of **full technical ownership**: you design, decide, build, operate, and take responsibility for critical platform domains. **Requirements** +5 years of backend development experience (seniority assessed based on autonomy and proactivity). +3 years of solid hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript. +3 years operating in AWS Serverless environments (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS). +2 years of experience in foundational Data Engineering and relational database modeling (PostgreSQL). **Desirable** +1 year of experience with TimescaleDB or time-series databases. Prior experience in IoT or industrial telemetry projects. Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/CDK). **Soft Skills** Extreme Ownership: Ability to take end-to-end ownership of a domain and drive resolution from start to finish. Judgment-Based Communication: Ability to challenge and collaborate effectively with technical stakeholders (e.g., Data Teams).
