We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data solutions, ensuring proper data ingestion, processing, and availability for various business and analytics teams. We require at least 6 years of experience as a Data Engineer. Solid hands-on experience with Databricks, Python, and SQL | Mandatory. Strong knowledge of PySpark and/or Scala. Experience in designing and developing data pipelines. Advanced knowledge of Cloud platforms: GCP, AWS, and/or Azure. Experience working with large volumes of data. Knowledge of data engineering best practices. Conversational to advanced English proficiency | Mandatory. What will you do? As a Senior Data Engineer, you will: Design, develop, and optimize robust and scalable data pipelines. Implement data ingestion, transformation, and processing workflows (batch and/or streaming). Work with large volumes of data, ensuring quality, performance, and reliability. Develop solutions using Databricks, PySpark, and Scala. Participate in designing data architectures in Cloud environments (GCP, AWS, and/or Azure). Collaborate with Data Analytics, Data Science, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Optimize cloud solution costs, performance, and scalability. Ensure development best practices: version control, testing, documentation, and monitoring. Participate in code reviews and contribute best practices to the team. Collaborate on continuous improvement of data team processes and standards. When and where will you work? First, you’ll have an interview with our Recruiters, Melina Rubio or Aldana Alvarenga, where we’ll discuss your professional background and interests. Next, you’ll proceed with interviews at the hiring company. The first stage is an interview with the company’s HR to learn more about the role and complete an English screening. The second stage is a technical assessment to evaluate your expertise in depth. Finally, you’ll have interviews with the client focused on getting to know the team and project in greater detail.
