Contribute to CI/CD platform improvements **Magento Backend Developer** **Start:** ASAP **Duration:** 3–4 months **Contract Type:** Fixed\-term **Location:** LATAM (must overlap with EST time zone) **English:** Upper\-Intermediate **Role Overview** We are looking for a Magento Developer with a strong backend focus, experienced in building scalable eCommerce solutions, developing custom modules, and handling system integrations within Magento 2 environments. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop customer\-specific and reusable Magento 2 modules * Build integrations between Magento and third\-party systems * Plan, develop, test, and document advanced eCommerce solutions * Contribute to CI/CD platform improvements supporting multiple clients * Deliver scalable, generic, and reusable backend solutions * Participate in internal training to maintain and improve technical skills **Core Technical Requirements** * Hands\-on experience with Magento 2 * Strong experience with LAMP stack (Linux, Apache/Nginx, MySQL, PHP 8\) * Solid understanding of OOP and design patterns * Experience across the full software development lifecycle (planning to deployment) * Experience working with web server technologies: Apache, HAProxy, Varnish, Redis, Ubuntu Server * Ability to estimate and forecast development tasks * Upper\-Intermediate English (written and spoken) * Flexibility to adapt to new processes **Additional Advantages** * Experience with SSR and modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js) * Experience with Jenkins, Bash, and Python scripting * eCommerce domain knowledge * Experience contributing to Magento 2 Job Types: Full\-time, Temporary Contract length: 4 months Pay: Up to $28,000\.00 per hour Work Location: Remote
