Work within an Agile and Scrum delivery model We are seeking a **Senior Java Developer** to join our team. You will build and support microservices\-based applications using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud technologies, writing clean and efficient code, collaborating with the team, and following best practices for quality, scalability, and performance. You will be joining an existing blended team of EPAM and the customer's engineers focused on building and enhancing Identity Management solutions for the customer's enterprise platform. This is a collaborative, fast\-paced environment where strong communication and client engagement are just as important as technical excellence. You will be working directly alongside customer stakeholders, making strong client\-facing skills a key success factor in this role. **Responsibilities** * Design, develop, and maintain high\-performance backend microservices using Java and Spring Boot along with Spring Security * Implement and support OAuth2, authentication, and authorization flows within the customer's Identity Management platform * Contribute to front\-end development tasks as needed, supporting the team in delivering end\-to\-end features as a secondary responsibility * Collaborate closely with customer engineers and stakeholders, communicating clearly on technical decisions, progress, and blockers * Participate in code reviews, promote best practices, and contribute to architectural discussions, operating in a paired programming model * Integrate with identity\-related components including token management, user authentication flows, and session handling * Work within an Agile and Scrum delivery model, actively engaging in sprint ceremonies and backlog grooming activities * Help ensure that solutions meet security, scalability, and performance standards across the platform **Requirements** * At least 3 years of professional relevant experience in software development * Expert\-level proficiency in Java (11/17 or higher) along with intermediate proficiency in ReactJS for frontend development * Strong hands\-on experience with RESTful API design and development * Practical experience with OAuth2, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and related authentication and authorization concepts * Familiarity with Identity Management principles such as SSO, token\-based authentication, JWT, and PKCE flows * Experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases * Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and modern DevOps practices * Fluent English communication skills at a B2 level or higher, both written and verbal **Nice to have** * Working knowledge of Go for backend development tasks * Practical experience with JavaScript for supporting frontend\-related activities * Familiarity with SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris Commerce) for e\-commerce platform integration **We offer** * International projects with top brands * Work with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peers * Healthcare benefits * Employee financial programs * Paid time off and sick leave * Upskilling, reskilling and certification courses * Unlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000\+ courses * Global career opportunities * Volunteer and community involvement opportunities * EPAM Employee Groups * Award\-winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedIn
