




Summary: The Collections Supervisor organizes and prioritizes collections work, leads a successful team, and supports an efficient order-to-cash process while continually driving exceptional results. Collaborate with finance and sales management to ensure service delivery The Collections Supervisor will organize and prioritize the work of collections associates to reduce aged receivable balances. They will effectively assign the work within their team to make sure the workload is properly balanced between team members, and follow departmental processes and guidelines. The role is responsible for maintaining a successful team and supporting an efficient order\-to\-cash process. They will prioritize team efforts to meet cash targets, report on monthly progress, and highlight concerns to the collections manager to continually drive exceptional results in support of the GBS\+ service mission. **Responsibilities****:** * Manage the Trade Accounts Receivable portfolio and monitor trends to address issues, speed up cash flow, and identify process improvements. * Maintain relationships with various departments to resolve payment issues and provide KPIs analysis for senior finance leadership. * Prepare and present productivity metrics and qualitative analysis to stakeholders; communicate with leadership on credit risks, bad debt, and bankruptcies. * Collaborate with finance and sales management, and interface with support functions to ensure service delivery. * Handle escalated payment delays, high\-risk customer credit issues, and manage account risk through order queue policies. * Review and monitor portfolio write\-offs and reserves for bad debt; enforce credit policies and meet annual objectives/KPIs. * Provide daily direction to staff; ensure staffing levels meet targets and standardize credit processes. * Support audits, process improvement initiatives, system enhancements, and special projects affecting Credit Services. * Lead, manage, and develop a team; handle HR issues, talent planning, recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training. * Create an environment of accountability and metric\-driven success. **Basic Qualifications:** * 4\-year college degree * 3\+ years of combined experience in accounting, finance or credit management * Experience leading cross\-functional projects in the finance sector; willingness to learn problem solving and Green Belt methodology Experience working with PC, Credit Systems/Tools* \-preferably SAP * 2\+ years of experience leading cross\-functional teams in a matrix environment, delivering complex projects with significant results * Experience building and leading high performing, business\-oriented teams that have a sense of urgency, a focus on results, and a commitment to quality * Fluent in English \+ at least one regional language **Preferred Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or business\-related field * Experience managing time demands, incomplete information or unexpected events * Strong skills developing and educating subordinates * Solid organizational and planning skills * Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral * Green/Black belt certification * Demonstrated ability to communicate to all levels of the organization, General Management and Field Sales Executives within Ecolab and across functions * Delivering results while leading a large team * Successful in leading change initiatives **Our Commitment to a Culture of Inclusion \& Belonging** Ecolab is committed to fair and equal treatment of associates and applicants and furthering the principles of Equal Opportunity to Employment.
