Collaborate with governance, legal, and security stakeholders We are looking for a **Senior Platform Engineer** to strengthen how data is classified and operationalized across our platforms, from signal ingestion to trusted metadata. You will build internal tooling, partner with governance and security stakeholders, and improve automation while keeping humans in the loop where needed—apply to help raise the bar for scalable data stewardship. **Responsibilities** * Design and mature a data classification approach, including an in\-house classification system and integration of signal providers * Build internal tooling that converts classification signals into reliable, actionable metadata in DataHub * Implement human\-in\-the\-loop review workflows for low\-confidence automated classification results * Integrate and evaluate classification signal providers such as Wiz and Cyera within the broader platform ecosystem * Contribute to rollout of DataHub LLM and pattern\-based classifiers for warehouse assets, starting with Databricks * Prototype an internal classifier pipeline that maps sample data to classification output as a complement to third\-party signals * Collaborate with data governance, legal, and security stakeholders to align classification to taxonomy and regulatory obligations * Support access\-governance efforts by using classification outputs to inform access right\-sizing for sensitive data **Requirements** * 3\+ years of platform engineering experience * Strong leadership skills to influence cross\-functional stakeholders * Proven project delivery in building internal platforms or developer tooling * Hands\-on experience with DataHub metadata management * Hands\-on experience with Databricks data ecosystems * Hands\-on experience with MongoDB in production environments * Strong communication skills for technical and non\-technical audiences * Upper\-Intermediate English proficiency (B2\) **Nice to have** * Data Governance practices and operating models * Privacy Management concepts and regulatory\-driven classification needs * LLM evaluation methods for classification quality and drift * Gaming domain experience to understand data context and sensitivity **We offer** * International projects with top brands * Work with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peers * Healthcare benefits * Employee financial programs * Paid time off and sick leave * Upskilling, reskilling and certification courses * Unlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000\+ courses * Global career opportunities * Volunteer and community involvement opportunities * EPAM Employee Groups * Award\-winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedIn
