Position Summary: We are seeking an SQL DBA to strengthen our team, ensuring the installation, configuration, and administration of SQL Server and database clusters. Key Highlights: 1. Ensure the installation, configuration, and administration of SQL Server and database clusters, guaranteeing optimal performance and availability. Perform backups and restores in controlled environments, and resolve database issues. Administer Data Warehouse (DWH) and SSIS servers, including ispac deployments, to maintain an efficient and secure data environment. Your responsibilities will include: Install and configure database clusters, including data size estimation using best practices across various SQL Server products (DWH, SSIS, SSRS). Monitor database servers using company-provided tools. Export data to various formats and perform backups and restores to protect the system in case of failure. Tune SQL Server instances across their different versions. Maintain data pipelines and troubleshoot database-related issues. You are the right candidate if you have over 5 years of experience in database administration and migration; hold a degree in Computer Science Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related fields; possess the Microsoft Certification: Database Administrator Associate; have experience in DWH, Cluster, and VMWare, along with knowledge of architecture, processes, and SQL tuning. Additionally, if you have experience monitoring and resolving MS SQL database issues, and tuning SQL statements and database instance performance. Knowledge of Windows, PowerShell, and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. This position operates Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., in a hybrid work model (3 days onsite, 2 days remote). What do we offer?
