We're seeking an experienced Controller based in Argentina or South America to lead accounting and financial reporting for our multi\-state, multi\-entity U.S. business. Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll own the close process, consolidated reporting, and reconciliations. This role requires strong, demonstrated financial reporting experience — you'll be producing the numbers our leadership runs the business on. **What You'll Do** * Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process * Prepare consolidated financial statements and management reports across entities and locations (NJ, NY, TX) * Manage AP/AR, general ledger, and account reconciliations to a clean, audit\-ready standard * Oversee cash flow forecasting and working capital reporting * Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis with the CFO * Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and audit readiness * Partner with HR/payroll on labor cost reporting and compliance * Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and banking partners **What We're Looking For** * Based in Argentina or South America with reliable remote work setup * Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA / Contador Público or equivalent strongly preferred * 7\+ years of progressive accounting experience with a proven track record in financial reporting — monthly close, consolidations, and management reporting * Experience reporting for U.S. companies and familiarity with US GAAP strongly preferred * Multi\-entity accounting experience; distribution, food/produce, or logistics industry a plus * Strong systems skills (\[ERP — confirm]); Rippling and SAP Concur exposure a plus * Fully bilingual English/Spanish, with strong written English for leadership reporting * Self\-directed and effective working remotely with a lean U.S.\-based team
