




Position Summary: We are seeking a Strategic Upstream Planning Analyst with an analytical profile to integrate economic-financial, technical, and operational information, thereby facilitating strategic decision-making. Build economic valuation models and executive reports. **What Are We Looking For?** We are seeking a **Strategic Upstream Planning Analyst** to join our team, holding a university degree in **Engineering, Economics, or related fields**, and possessing a strong analytical profile to contribute to the Upstream business’s **strategic planning, annual budgeting, and corporate forecasting (UPA)** processes. We seek a candidate capable of **integrating economic-financial, technical, and operational information**, developing analyses and valuation models, and generating executive reports that support **strategic decision-making**, aligned with YPF’s development and production objectives. **What Will Be Your Mission?** Actively participate in executing the Upstream business’s **strategic planning, budgeting, and corporate forecasting (UPA)** processes, providing support in defining guidelines, cross-functional consolidation of reservoir and business unit information, and integrated analysis of the **asset and project portfolio**, contributing to informed, strategy-aligned decision-making. **What Will Be Your Key Responsibilities?** * Participate in the **development of short-, medium-, and long-term Upstream Business Plans**, integrating production profiles, investment plans, operating costs, asset performance, market assumptions, and profitability metrics. * Monitor **current Business Plans** and the budgeting process, ensuring adherence to deadlines, version traceability, and accurate input registration in corporate systems. * Develop **economic valuation models**, technical-economic analyses, and ad-hoc benchmarks as management and business control support tools. Prepare **executive reports, dashboards, and integrated reports** on process progress, variance analysis, and key alerts for senior leadership. * Participate in analyzing, preparing, and organizing documentation for the **CIC (Corporate Investment Committee)**, providing economic and methodological support for evaluating Upstream projects. * Collaborate on **continuous improvement of planning processes, methodologies, and schedules**, proposing automation, efficiencies, and enhancements in tool usage. Interact cross-functionally with **business planning areas**, gathering information and performing integrated analyses of the project and asset portfolio. **What Do We Value?** **Academic Background:** University degree in **Engineering, Economics, Administration, or related fields**. Additional training in planning, finance, or economic analysis is valued. **Professional Experience:** Experience in **strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, or economic-financial analysis**. Experience in the **Oil & Gas industry** is valued.
