Each person on our team is essential; therefore, we prioritize cultivating a culture grounded in empathy, transparency, drive, and commitment. **About the Team** The Core Experience team is a dynamic, multidisciplinary group comprising professionals from IT, Product, and UX. As part of this squad, you will contribute to maintaining and developing new features enabling waitstaff, bar staff, and managers/admins to improve their daily operations—through table management, stock control, financial management, and other functionalities. **Role Description** The **Team Lead Software Engineer** will be responsible for leading the Software Engineers team within the squad. They will serve as the key liaison with Product and UX teams. Responsibilities include project management, resolution of complex technical obstacles, and implementation of quality best practices such as CI/CD, *testing*, and code reviews. **Responsibilities** * Team Management: Oversee daily work, define clear roles and responsibilities for each team member. * Professional Development: Provide technical mentorship to team members on the technology stack used at Fudo. Deliver effective feedback to support each individual’s development plan. * Communication: Coordinate across departments and convey technical requirements between backend and frontend. * Project Management: Monitor timelines and deliverables, ensuring correct integration across stack components. * Problem Solving: Deliver solutions to complex technical obstacles across the entire technology stack. * Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices for developing new features, including CI/CD and testing. * Code Review: Actively participate as a code reviewer, ensuring quality standards in Ruby and React. * Technological Innovation: Stay current with emerging technology trends and consider how they could be integrated into our ecosystem. **What We Expect From You** **Minimum Requirements** * Have completed or be close to completing a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields. * Have at least 5 years of experience in web development, programming in JavaScript and using HTML and CSS. * Have experience with at least one web framework such as Angular or React. * Have experience leading teams, or mentoring and coaching team members. **Desirable Requirements:** * Familiarity with front-end application interaction with REST APIs on the back-end. * Experience modifying APIs. * Attention to detail regarding UX/UI to ensure delivered product quality. * High comfort level with Git and Linux. **Benefits** * Play a central role within the technology team—driving improvements and continuously learning from a goal-oriented, multidisciplinary team. * Internationally competitive salaries and benefits. * Remote or hybrid work in a relaxed, comfortable environment at our Buenos Aires offices. * Local holidays + birthday off + business days of vacation * In-house English / Portuguese training * Wellhub (formerly Gympass) plan coverage for gym access or physical activities * Additional benefits through partnerships with other companies
