We are currently seeking a Process Engineer to join our branch in Río Tercero, Córdoba, Argentina. **Responsibilities** --------------------- * Analyze, document, and optimize machining and welding processes involved in the manufacturing of hydraulic crane structures and components. * Evaluate production times, methods, and resources, identifying opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and safety. * Develop and maintain up-to-date process sheets, flow diagrams, and operation technical data sheets. * Coordinate with design, engineering, and production departments to ensure product manufacturability and correct interpretation of drawings. * Propose improvements to layout, tools, fixtures, and working conditions to optimize efficiency in machining and welding areas. * Apply and promote continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen. * Validate modifications or new implementations through testing and technical analysis (cycle times, scrap rates, repeatability, weld quality, tolerances, etc.). * Collaborate with quality, maintenance, safety, and environmental departments to integrate improvement practices across the entire production line. * Prepare and present technical reports, process metrics, and indicators to the department head. * Actively participate in global or corporate group projects related to standardization and transfer of industrial best practices. **Competencies** ---------------- * Competencies: Attention to detail, technical analysis, teamwork, and results orientation. * Education: University degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering. * Professional experience: Proven experience of at least 1–3 years. * Language: Intermediate English. * Tooling and fixture design for machining. * Welding, cutting, bending, machining, and assembly processes. * Interpretation of mechanical drawings and technical specifications. * Process analysis and continuous improvement tools. * CAD and ERP software (SolidWorks or CREO). * Proficiency in Excel and project tracking tools (Project, Planner, Smartsheet or similar). * CNC chip removal processes. * Industrial hydraulics. * ISO 9001 standards. * SAP or another enterprise management system. * Work study and time measurement. * Statistics. **What We Offer** ----------------- * Opportunity to join a continuously growing company like PALFINGER. * Competitive compensation package. * Excellent work environment with a friendly and proactive team. * Ongoing training programs. * Opportunities for professional development and growth.
