Our team is constantly evolving, and today we need to bring on board a **Data Scientist** to keep growing. **What will your main responsibilities be?** * Design, train, and deploy machine learning models that deliver real business impact (e.g., recommendations, propensity modeling, segmentation, etc.). * Lead end-to-end Data Science projects: from ideation and definition through to production monitoring. * Define and apply best practices for model development: versioning, validation, reproducibility, documentation, and monitoring. * Collaborate with ML Engineers to design robust, scalable, and automated pipelines. * Work closely with Product, Business, and Technology teams to understand problems, formulate hypotheses, and translate them into data-driven solutions. * Design and analyze experiments (A/B tests) to evaluate model impact. * Mentor other Data Scientists and contribute to the team’s continuous improvement. * Explore new techniques, technologies, and data sources to strengthen the strategic use of artificial intelligence at MODO. **What do we expect from you?** * +5 years of hands-on experience applying machine learning to business problems. * Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field. * Strong proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, numpy, poetry, etc.) and SQL. * Solid experience using AI Assistant Coding tools (Cursor, Windsurf, Copilot). * Experience working with large-scale datasets in modern data warehouses (preferably Snowflake). * Experience in offline validation, A/B testing, and production model monitoring. * Autonomy to lead high-impact technical projects, prioritizing both quality and business outcomes. * Ability to clearly communicate findings and results to both technical and non-technical audiences. **Nice-to-have qualifications:** * Experience in fintech, e-commerce, or large-scale digital products. * Knowledge of recommendation systems, ranking models, and propensity models. * Familiarity with MLOps frameworks (MLflow, SageMaker, etc.). * Experience integrating models with APIs or microservices. * Experience with LLMs or intelligent agents. * Experience working with embeddings and vector databases. * Experience with AWS. **What do we offer?** * 10 business days of vacation + 5 MODO days. * Health insurance for you and your family. * Reimbursement via the MODO app for lunches and commuting. * Gympass membership and discounts at Sport Club for physical activity. * Extended leave policies (marriage, maternity, paternity, and others). * Training platform and university discounts to enhance and expand your knowledge. * Birthday day off and half-day off for your children’s birthdays. * Team-building activities. * Opportunity to grow in a flexible, dynamic, and rapidly expanding environment.
