Utilize accounting software like SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks **Job Summary** The Finance Agent position at DHL Express Caribbean involves in\-depth analysis and high\-level management of various financial transactions related to accounts payable. Responsibilities include scrutinizing invoices and payments, while ensuring the accuracy of financial records through bank statement reconciliation.**Key Tasks*** Process financial transactions for accounts payable which include cheque and online banking payments. * Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial records for payables. * Maintain and verify all general ledger accounts transactions * Code and categorize financial transactions according to established accounting principles. * Manage accounts payable functions, such as creating and verifying invoices, remittance submission and managing vendor relationships. * Generate reports and perform data analysis as needed to support both accounts payable. * Petty Cash custodian ensures all transactions are in accordance with cash handling policy. * Responsible for contract, vendor maintenance and document update. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment and filing system. * Adhere to all company accounting policies and procedures. * Statutory payment submission to vendors if, and when necessary. * Other duties that may be required by the department. **Skills and Qualifications*** Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. * 2\+ years of experience in accounts payable, finance, or related roles. * Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial transactions. * Knowledge of accounting principles and practices. * Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. * Strong problem\-solving skills to resolve discrepancies and issues. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast\-paced environment. * Effective communication skills to interact with vendors, internal stakeholders, and management. * Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements related to accounts payable. * Adaptability to learn new processes and systems quickly. * Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus. * Familiarity with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. **NOTICE** All applicants must submit a copy of their application to: The Chief Manpower Officer Ministry of Labour and Small Enterprise Development 50\-54 Duke Street Port\-of\-Spain
