




Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Laminator for our production team, with a technical background in flexible packaging and a strong commitment to quality and operational efficiency. Key Highlights: 1. Operation and control of flexible packaging laminating machines. 2. Conducting quality control and basic equipment maintenance. 3. Handling flexible packaging and adhesive conversion processes. We are a company dedicated to manufacturing flexible packaging, and we are currently hiring an experienced **Laminator** to join our production team at our **Lomas del Mirador** plant. We seek a detail-oriented individual with solid technical expertise in flexible packaging conversion processes and a strong commitment to quality and operational efficiency. **Main Responsibilities:** * **Machine Operation:** Setup, startup, and operation of the laminating machine (specify whether *Solventless* or *Solvent-Based*, if applicable). * **Process Control:** Monitoring and adjusting critical production parameters: web tension, line speed, temperatures, applied adhesive grammage, and material alignment (BOPP, PET, PE, Aluminum, etc.). * **Input Preparation:** Controlling adhesive and catalyst mixing and dosing according to the product technical data sheet. * **Quality Control:** Performing in-process inspections (adhesion tests, visual inspection for defects such as bubbles or wrinkles) to ensure the quality of laminated material. * **Basic Maintenance:** Performing cleaning, lubrication, and first-level preventive maintenance on the assigned machine. * **Data Recording:** Completing production logs, waste reports, downtime records, and quality reports in the system. **Requirements:** * **Experience:** Minimum 2–3 years as a machine operator or lead operator on flexible packaging laminating lines (mandatory). * **Technical Knowledge:** Familiarity with various plastic structures (monolayer, bilayer, trilayer), use of polyurethane adhesives, and handling of measuring instruments (micrometer, precision balance). * **Education:** Completed secondary education. * **Availability:** Ability to work rotating shifts (day/night). * **Competencies:** Attention to detail, proactivity, strong productivity orientation, and ability to work under industrial safety and food safety standards (HACCP/BRC, if applicable).
