The **Junior Purchasing and General Services Analyst** is responsible for managing and optimizing purchasing, international trade processes, and general services to ensure operational efficiency, cost\-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance. This role includes overseeing local and international purchases, ensuring timely order processing, managing logistics for on\-time delivery, and supporting the company’s general services, including visitor reception, communication management, and coordination of administrative services across departments. **Essential Duties \& Responsibilities:** **Responsible for carrying out non\-productive purchases and sales order purchases:** * Sourcing quotations * Analyzing and comparing offers * Issuing purchase orders * Following up and expediting pending purchases * Coordinating and managing services requested by various departments, such as travel arrangements, reservations, and preparation of required documentation **Perform administrative tasks within the department, such as:** * Verifying documentation for outsourced services * Verifying documentation for foreign trade operations * Verifying documentation for non\-productive purchases and customer order purchases * Assisting in the creation, implementation, and updating of internal documentation, as well as managing audiovisual materials for various organizational initiatives * Organizing, classifying, and filing administrative documentation under their responsibility, ensuring proper access and secure storage **Reception and Communication Responsibilities:** * Handling supplier and customer inquiries, providing clear and accurate general information both in person and by phone * Managing visitor reception, ensuring courteous and professional service * Receiving and screening phone calls, redirecting them to the appropriate department * Providing basic general information to external parties according to established procedures * Coordination and follow\-up of foreign trade operations * Interacting with foreign trade agents, customs brokers, and freight forwarders * Assisting the Area Manager and Purchasing Management **Quality, Safety \& Environment** * Comply with the Quality, Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental standards communicated to them and promote them among their peers. * Knowledge of waste segregation and the matrix of environmental aspects and impacts applicable to the office, canteen, plant, membrane washing and special waste deposit sector, of safety and hygiene standards and prevention measures, policies, instructions, procedures and records applicable to the area, integrated quality and environmental policy, among others. **Core Competencies:** * Responsible, committed, autonomous, proactive, with initiative and an interest in contributing to the activities in which they participate, acting transparently in all actions and maintaining confidentiality of the matters under their responsibility. * Planning and organizational skills.
