Role Description DXC Technology is currently seeking a BI Analyst to support and develop Data Visualization solutions in Power BI for a strategic client in the paper industry. This role targets junior professionals with verifiable initial work experience, interested in professional growth in the field of data and visualization, working alongside more senior professionals in a corporate and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities * Collaborate in the development and maintenance of Power BI reports and dashboards. * Implement basic and intermediate visualizations based on defined requirements. * Assist in the creation and maintenance of simple datasets and data models. * Develop measures and calculations using DAX at a basic/intermediate level. * Support data validation tasks and quality control of displayed information. * Perform performance and formatting adjustments according to established guidelines. * Document developments and changes implemented. * Provide operational support to users and assist in resolving simple incidents in production environments. Technical Requirements (Mandatory) * Verifiable initial work experience (e.g., 1–2 years) in BI, Data Visualization, Data Analyst, or similar roles. * Practical knowledge of Power BI: + Power BI Desktop + Power BI Service (basic usage) + Introduction to DAX + Power Query (basic level) * Basic/intermediate SQL knowledge for queries and data validation. * Initial understanding of data modeling (concepts of tables, relationships, metrics). * Genuine interest in the fields of data, BI, and visualization. Desirable / Plus Skills * Academic or practical experience in BI or Analytics projects. * Basic knowledge of best practices in data visualization. * Initial understanding of Power BI performance concepts. * Exposure to corporate environments or internal clients (desirable). * Basic knowledge of Cloud tools or consuming data from Azure/GCP (not mandatory). Certifications (Not Mandatory | Plus) * Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst (PL-300) (in progress or intent to certify). * Introductory courses, trainings, or certifications in BI, Analytics, or Microsoft tools. * Formal certification is not required, but continuous learning and commitment to professional development will be valued. Languages * Basic/Intermediate English: desirable. + Not mandatory; primarily oriented toward reading technical documentation.
