Main responsibilities may include but not limited to:* Tax returns preparation/supports the filing of tax returns. * Tax determination on customers billing. * Understanding of regulations and business an accounting acumen. * Supporting internal and external audits. * ERP/tax applications and databases maintenance. Main Activities:* Manage most complex account reconciliations. Address corrective measures that may also impact other teams. Prepare fluctuation analysis (P\&L, B/S, payments). * Analysis of accounting data and inventory gains/losses for tax reporting purposes. * Conduct research for more complicated tax questions and contacts tax authorities for clarification as needed. * Lead communication with business partners on issue/discrepancies resolutions. * Review Chevron customers’ taxability application based on tax law and business to ensure compliance. * Leads, coordinates and collaborates on special projects as well as review regulations and procedures. Required Qualification/Soft Skills:* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting, business, finance or tax. * Combination of \+6 years of tax accounting, finance and/or audit experience Excellent oral/written English skills. * Fluent in ERP/Tax systems or tax applications. Utilizes knowledge of work group systems to assist on enhancements and development projects. Preferred qualifications in system implementation (SAP). Preferred qualifications:* US or International Direct and Indirect tax experience. * Soft skills: coordination/Leadership skills. * Analytical skills and critical thinking. * Able to adapt processes in response to a fast\-paced environment.
