We are looking for a Senior Accounting Analyst to join the Administration Department of an insurance company. We seek a professional with solid experience in the insurance market, an analytical profile, results orientation, and commitment to the quality of accounting information, who will actively participate in the processes of recording, analysis, and closing of the company's accounting, ensuring compliance with current regulations and requirements of regulatory bodies. Main Responsibilities Perform analysis and reconciliation of balance sheet and income statement accounts. Prepare accounting entries, recordings, and closing adjustments. Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closings. Perform bank reconciliations and monitor correct recording of financial transactions. Analyze and reconcile accounts related to insurance agents, reinsurers, and co-insurers. Prepare accounting settlements with reinsurers and co-insurers. Prepare accounting information for the preparation of balance sheets and financial statements. Prepare reports and information required by management, external auditors, and regulatory bodies. Support the preparation and submission of information required by the National Insurance Superintendency. Participate in defining, documenting, and continuously improving administrative-accounting workflows and processes. Provide technical-accounting support to various departments within the company. Coordinate tasks with external accounting firms, external auditors, tax advisors, and other professionals associated with the company. Drive improvements in processes, internal controls, and administrative-accounting workflows. Requirements Certified Public Accountant. Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting positions within insurance companies. Experience in accounting closings, preparation of balance sheets, and compliance with requirements of the National Insurance Superintendency. Knowledge of accounting standards applicable to the insurance market. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with insurance company management systems will be valued. Experience in team coordination or process supervision will be considered a plus. Competencies Leadership and coordination ability. Excellent analytical ability. Organization and planning skills.
