Semi-Senior Backend Developer — TypeScript / NestJS (Remote)

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced backend developer to design modules, make technical decisions, and collaborate directly with product in developing scalable APIs. Key Highlights: 1. Clear growth path toward senior We seek a backend developer who has already moved past the "learning the framework" stage and is ready to take real ownership: designing modules, making technical decisions, and being accountable for what they deploy. **What You'll Do** * Design and maintain scalable REST APIs with NestJS and TypeScript * Model databases and optimize queries (PostgreSQL/MySQL) * Integrate third-party services (payments, notifications, external APIs) * Write testable code and participate in code reviews * Collaborate directly with product: not just executing tickets, but proposing solutions **What You Need to Bring** * 3\+ years of backend experience, with at least 3\+ years using NestJS in production * Strong command of TypeScript (not "JavaScript with types layered on top") * Experience with relational databases and ORMs (TypeORM/Prisma) * Proficiency with Git, Docker, and CI/CD workflows * Autonomy: you know how to unblock yourself before escalating issues **Bonus Points** * Microservices architecture or message queues (Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka) * Experience with AWS or GCP * Testing with Jest (unit and integration) **What We Offer** * USD $1,000 per month * 100% remote work, flexible hours with a core collaboration window * Projects with direct business impact, not endless legacy maintenance * Clear growth path toward senior Apply with your CV and, if available, a link to GitHub or production projects.
