Reference number: 44332 Contract type: Permanent Publication start date: Apr 29, 2025 Eramine Sudamérica SA is a subsidiary of Eramet, a global French mining and metallurgical group. It is located at the Centenario Ratones Salt Flat, at 3,800 meters above sea level, in the Los Andes department, Salta province, Argentina. Exploration activities began 12 years ago, and at the end of 2019 our pilot plant started operating, demonstrating the quality of the final lithium carbonate product, achieving over 90% direct extraction efficiency. Position objective Support in preparing the work area, equipment and additional requirements for conducting, evaluating laboratory tests and analyses, providing information for process control, assurance and improvement. Hierarchical line: Reports to Laboratory Supervisor. Puna Salteña. Salta province, Argentina. Measure physicochemical parameters in solid and liquid samples: Temperature, pH, density, electrical conductivity, turbidity, particle size, etc.Prepare and standardize solutions of different concentrations.Validate and report chemical analysis and test results when required.Support operation and preventive maintenance of Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometer (ICP\-OES).Assist in updating inventory control of reagents, materials and spare parts used in the Laboratory.Degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Chemical Analyst; Chemical Technician, Process Industries Technician, Biological Chemist or related fields, preferably with experience in industries or research and/or development laboratories.Knowledge / proficiency in Office suite and Windows.Familiarity with Emission / Absorption Spectroscopy (ICP\-OES / ICP\-MS, AAS), Laser Diffraction Particle Size Analysis, Automatic Autotitrators operation and Ion Chromatography.Desirable knowledge of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).Strong foundation in General Chemistry, Qualitative / Quantitative Analysis.Knowledge and commitment to safety regulations.Teamwork.Organizational and planning agility.Availability to work roster schedule.Every day at Eramet, we strive to be a responsible actor in the mining industry and reduce our environmental footprint.
