Job Summary: We are seeking a Logistics Manager to lead and optimize the logistics function, ensuring efficient delivery of products and services to customers, optimizing resources, and minimizing costs. We are looking for a Logistics Manager to lead and optimize the Logistics Department. The role's mission is to ensure that products or services reach customers efficiently and within the agreed timeframes, while optimizing resources and minimizing associated costs. This includes overseeing all logistics activities, such as transportation, warehousing, distribution, and inventory management. Key Responsibilities: - Inventory Planning and Control: Ensure inventory levels are appropriate to meet demand without incurring excess stock that generates unnecessary costs. - Transportation and Distribution Management: Coordinate product transportation—whether internal or via external carriers—and ensure adherence to established deadlines. - Logistics Process Optimization: Continuously improve efficiency and reduce costs through implementation of technology, best practices, or process reengineering. - Cross-departmental Coordination: Collaborate closely with Procurement, Production, Quality, and Maintenance departments. - Supplier and Carrier Negotiation: Manage relationships with suppliers and carriers to secure mutually beneficial agreements and monitor delivery terms. - Quality Control: Supervise product delivery to ensure goods arrive in good condition and meet required quality standards.
