A prominent global retail company, a leader in its segment with a strong market presence, is seeking a Purchasing Manager to lead the development of the Non-Food Hard – Electronics category. The position will assume a strategic role focused on driving business growth through sales management, category development, and execution of a competitive commercial proposition. The main challenge will be to identify market opportunities, innovate in building the commercial offering, and provide a distinctive perspective to enhance category development and strengthen its market positioning. The role involves team leadership, cross-functional interaction across multiple business areas, and management of strategic relationships with key suppliers. Key Responsibilities: Define and implement the commercial strategy for assigned categories, including planning, budgeting, and market analysis. Manage key business metrics: sales, profitability, inventory turnover, market share, and stock levels. Drive category development and innovation, generating differentiated commercial proposals. Develop and consolidate strategic supplier relationships, conducting high-impact commercial negotiations. Identify new business opportunities through analysis of market trends and consumer behavior. Plan seasons, imports, and procurement in coordination with operations and logistics. Maintain ongoing interaction with regional offices across the country and internal business areas. Lead and develop the purchasing team by setting objectives, supporting performance, and promoting professional growth. Requirements Solid procurement experience within the Electronics and Retail industry (mandatory). Experience in commercial category management and development. Strong negotiation skills and strategic business vision. Experience leading teams. Analytical profile with ability to manage commercial KPIs and budgets. Intermediate/Advanced English (mandatory). Position Conditions Hybrid work model. Working hours: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Availability for occasional domestic travel and occasional international travel. Gender-neutral.
