Job Objectives: Development of new products from conception, based on project input data provided by the commercial department, through to entry into production. Desired Skills/Credentials (courses, experience, etc.): Solid knowledge of mechanical design. Proficiency in CAD software (preferably SOLIDWORKS). Experience in tooling design (dies, molds, fixtures) and gauges. Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of GANTT chart planning and project tracking software (preferably MS PROJECT). Experience in cost analysis and economic evaluation of projects. Intermediate-to-advanced English proficiency. Electronics and automation knowledge is desirable. Main Responsibilities: Market research Project pre-feasibility Product design Process design Prototype manufacturing Internal laboratory testing. Prototype validation Development of final tooling and control gauges Packaging development Creation of product structure Preparation of technical-commercial documentation: installation instructions, placement templates, product family code lists, exploded views, general specifications, and external dimensions Product presentation Pilot batch manufacturing, with verification of final product and process External laboratory testing with product validation per applicable standards (certifications). Ideal Age Range: 25–40 Educational Requirement: Mechanical / Electromechanical Engineer (or nearing graduation) Experience: Minimum 3 years.
