Hybrid position: 3 days on-site, 2 days remote work
Responsible for managing and optimizing national vehicle distribution, wholesale planning and execution, and vehicle allocation and inventory processes in alignment with General Motors’ commercial strategy, ensuring operational excellence
**Responsibilities**
* Manage national vehicle distribution, wholesale planning and execution, ensuring alignment with commercial strategy and business objectives.
* Optimize vehicle allocation processes across different sales channels, and leverage tools to enhance visibility, analysis, and decision-making.
* Supervise end-to-end vehicle inventory at plants and dealerships, ensuring product availability and achievement of targets.
* Monitor distribution, inventory, wholesale, revenue recognition, and product availability metrics; identify deviations and develop action plans.
* Administer production order generation processes, identifying opportunities for simplification, automation, and control improvement.
* Prepare management reports, performance analyses, and presentations to support commercial and operational decision-making.
* Act as a strategic partner in defining commercial policies, aligning distribution activities with business objectives.
* Provide alternatives to optimize revenue by evaluating and managing production priorities, arrivals, billing, and dispatches.
* Serve as the business subject-matter expert for systems managed by Sales Operations, supporting the IT team in modernization, implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Manage resolution of operational and systemic issues, coordinating root cause analysis, solution definition, communication with involved areas, and implementation follow-up.
* Build and manage working relationships with Sales, Finance, Production, Logistics, Customs, IT, Marketing, and other internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with GM’s inventory policies, procedures, and internal controls.

**Qualifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
* Experience in Sales Operations, distribution, planning, wholesale, or inventory management within the automotive industry.
* Experience leading or coordinating cross-functional projects and implementing or improving systems.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Power BI and database management is preferred.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal relationship skills.
* Analytical ability, strategic thinking, and capability to solve complex problems.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and across organizational levels.
* Proactivity, autonomy, customer orientation, and results focus.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in dynamic, continuously changing environments.

* Automotive industry experience
* Approximately 5 years of experience in similar roles within the industry
