Job Summary: Provides field-based technical support to customers as the primary technical contact for TD SYNNEX products and solutions, resolving technical and process-related issues during pre-sales. Provides field-based technical support to customers, serving as the primary technical point of contact for TD SYNNEX products, solutions, and services. Performs a variety of product and technical support functions, including investigation and resolution of technical and process-related issues during pre-sales. These activities may include the following, in addition to other assigned tasks: **Responsibilities:** * Resolves all technical and process-related issues during pre-sales, escalating appropriately when necessary. * Advises customers and technology teams to clarify and/or resolve issues and assess operational and performance requirements. * Advises customers on the design, development, and maintenance of products/services during pre-sales. * Supports the sales channel, field teams, and customers with pre-sales technical solutions. * Responsible for transferring knowledge of advanced technical concepts to target audiences. * Communicates complex information and ideas clearly, concisely, and persuasively to target audiences. * Participates in product, solution, or service training to maintain technical knowledge, current certifications, and competencies. * Helps determine proposal feasibility by collaborating with customers and the technology team to clarify and/or resolve issues. * Provides consulting on advanced configurations within converged solutions. Sells “best-in-class” solutions, including TD SYNNEX services. Creates, presents, and executes strategies. * HPE Hybrid IT Pre-Sales: A consultative role supporting the sales team in identifying customer needs and defining HPE hybrid infrastructure solutions (compute, storage, networking, and management, including HPE GreenLake). Participates in high-level design, proposal preparation, and presentations to modernize data centers and enable private and hybrid clouds. **Position Level Specifications:** * Comprehensive mastery and broad application of standards, principles, concepts, and advanced techniques. * General knowledge of related disciplines. * Develops solutions to complex problems requiring advanced data and technology analysis. * Demonstrates sound judgment in selecting optimal techniques to achieve results. * Works with minimal supervision, applying independent judgment and discretion. * Exercises broad autonomy to define technical objectives. * Work may be reviewed broadly from a long-term perspective based on desired outcomes. * Frequently represents the organization as the primary technical contact on projects or contracts. * Interacts with external professionals on relevant technical matters requiring inter-organizational coordination. * Actions impact project success and completion. * Failure to perform work or incorrect decisions may cause significant project delays and require substantial resources to remediate. **Work Experience:** * 6–9 years with a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of formal education and directly related experience. * 4–7 years with a master’s degree. **Education and Certifications:** * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical training. **Distinguishing Characteristics:** * May require up to 50% travel.
