




Position Summary: We are seeking a Head of Investments responsible for defining, leading, and executing the mutual fund investment strategy, ensuring consistent returns and compliance with mandates. We are looking for a Head of Investments who will be responsible for defining, leading, and executing the mutual fund investment strategy, ensuring risk-adjusted consistent returns, capital preservation, and adherence to fund mandates, aligning decision-making with the business’s strategic objectives. What are the main responsibilities of this role? * Define the investment strategy and philosophy of the asset manager. Establish strategic and tactical asset allocation per fund. Analyze the macroeconomic context and market trends. * Supervise portfolio construction and management. Validate investment and divestment decisions. Adjust positions according to market conditions. * Lead the Investment Committee. Define risk, liquidity, and diversification guidelines. Make strategic decisions in volatile scenarios. * Supervise analysis teams (macro, fixed income, equity, etc.). Validate investment models and methodologies. Promote the use of data and analytical tools. * Ensure consistency between assumed risk and expected return. Coordinate with Risk and Compliance departments. Define limits and early-warning thresholds. * Present strategy and results to senior management and institutional clients. Participate in commercial meetings and roadshows. MBA or Master’s degree in Finance (preferred). Certifications such as CFA (highly valued). * Required work experience: +10 years in capital markets / asset management. Experience leading investment teams. Track record in portfolio management or senior research roles. * Specific knowledge: Mutual fund operations / asset management. Valuation, reconciliation, and settlement processes. Applicable capital markets regulation. Operational risk control. Proficiency in financial operating systems.
