With an industry\-leading pipeline of projects, strong financial positioning, and talented employees, we look forward to our bright future! **Job Description:** **JOB OBJECTIVE** Operate, control, and monitor plant processes from the control room, ensuring operational continuity, compliance with established parameters, and early detection of deviations. This position must contribute to the safe and efficient operation of the plant by monitoring process variables and maintaining continuous communication with field operators and supervision. **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES** * Operate, control, and monitor plant equipment and processes from the control room in real time. * Operate the SCADA system: monitoring and control, data interpretation, alarm management, and data historization. * Perform control and monitoring tasks for operational equipment in the field, coordinating such activities with the control room. * Apply knowledge of valuable mineral concentration processes, primarily froth flotation. * Monitor material flows and mass balance of the process. * Monitor densities and interpret corresponding readings. * Understand reagent dosing parameters and calculate consumption. * Track key operational variables, production parameters, alarms, and process trends. * Promptly detect deviations, failures, or abnormal conditions, and report them to supervision and field operators. * Execute operational adjustments in accordance with procedures, established parameters, and supervision instructions. * Record operational information, incidents, equipment status, and key shift indicators. * Prepare and complete production tracking reports, records, and forms using Excel and Word. * Participate in shift start-up meetings and shift handovers, ensuring proper transfer of information. * Maintain clear and continuous communication with all departments involved in plant operations. * Maintain order and cleanliness at the workplace. * Comply with, and ensure compliance with, safety, environmental, and quality procedures, instructions, and standards applicable to the position. * Use PPE appropriately according to the activity being performed. * Propose and collaborate in identifying improvements to support operations, always prioritizing safety. **EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS** A tertiary or university degree exclusively in mining, industrial processes, chemistry, metallurgy, electromechanics, or related fields is required. Advanced students, technicians, or recently graduated professionals with theoretical knowledge of mineral processing may also be considered. **REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE** * Theoretical knowledge of mineral processing: reagent dosing, pump pressures, flows, solids percentage, among others. * Knowledge of grinding processes. * Familiarity with operational procedures and basic industrial safety standards. * General understanding of circuits and stages in a processing plant. * Basic interpretation of operational variables, trends, alarms, and process indicators. * Experience monitoring control room displays. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (mandatory), with emphasis on Excel for data entry and tracking, and Word for preparing records and reports. **EXPERIENCE** Prior experience will be valued in: * Mining operations. * Mineral processing plants. * Operating or monitoring processes from a control room. * Tracking operational variables and control systems. * Operating industrial, chemical, metallurgical, or continuous-process plants. * Preparing operational reports and recording shift information.
