You will work with purpose, learn every day, and contribute to building a more sustainable future. **What You’ll Do** ---------------- * **Customer Support and Technical Advisory Services:** Provide on-site technical advisory services, commissioning, operational monitoring, and maintenance support for Weir equipment at customer facilities. * **Sales Engineering Support:** Support the sales engineering team through regular customer visits, assistance with pre- and post-sales requirements, and delivery of specialized technical support to the commercial team. * **Operational Monitoring and Inventory Management:** Monitor operational performance of Weir equipment, manage inventory levels, and ensure timely supply of spare parts and components. * **Equipment Commissioning:** Execute pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities for pumps, hydrocyclones, mills, spools, and valves. * **Growth Strategy Development:** Design and implement growth strategies for pump, spool, and hydrocyclone product lines. * **Field Work:** Dedicate a significant portion of your working time to activities at mining sites, ensuring practical, hands-on support and close proximity to customers. * **Willingness to Travel:** Frequent travel within northern Argentina is required to visit customer operations. * **Safety First:** Demonstrate 100% commitment to zero-harm behaviors and support the development of a world-class safety culture. **What You’ll Bring** -------------------- **Essential Requirements** * Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field. * Minimum 3 years of experience in roles involving support for mining or industrial equipment. * Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). * Strong customer orientation, proactive attitude, assertive communication, and excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills. **Desirable Requirements** * Intermediate level of English (desirable but not mandatory). * Experience working in mining environments and familiarity with mining equipment and services. * Ability to perform effectively under field conditions and at mining sites. * Knowledge of inventory and supply chain management related to spare parts. **Why Join Weir?** --------------------------- We live our values: we put safety first, do the right thing, respect each other, strive for excellence, and exceed our customers’ expectations.
