Megane turbo diesel purchased in October 1998, ready for transfer. Valid VTV (vehicle technical inspection). Air conditioning working properly. Never involved in any collision. It has 250,000 km; a vehicle I hold in high regard due to its nobility, fuel efficiency, and reliability. Its driving behavior and responsiveness in city traffic (delivering maximum torque at very low RPMs, approximately 2000) are unmatched by many newer cars, as is its performance on highways/expressways. It runs smoothly and stably at 120 km/h, feels solid and well-planted, and has no difficulty overtaking trucks. The car is in good aesthetic condition, with minor age-related details (it is not a collector's item), and having nearly 28 years of age, it has never been in a collision. As visible in the photos, all body lines—including doors, hood, and trunk—remain intact. The car has always received consistent attention: whenever something required replacement or repair, it was promptly taken to the workshop. These were always minor or logically expected issues due to normal wear and tear, especially since it continues to be used almost daily. For example, the VTV was recently performed and passed, though with a note indicating worn control arm bushings (the inspection report stated they still had usable life remaining); therefore, the following week I took it to have the entire front suspension rebuilt, replacing all necessary components and those already showing significant wear. Additionally, it is highly economical to maintain and operate: being over 20 years old, it no longer incurs annual registration fees; and its fuel consumption is truly remarkable—approximately 13 km/L in city driving and 17 km/L on highways at ~120 km/h; if driven at 100 km/h, it exceeds 20 km per liter. The car has never undergone major interventions: the engine and turbocharger have never been opened. It does not consume oil and still maintains exceptional compression. It is operated using premium diesel fuel, although regular diesel is also acceptable. I am aware the asking price exceeds typical market values for similar vehicles, but this reflects the value I genuinely assign to it. Moreover, despite owning other newer vehicles, I continue to drive it almost daily—and doing so brings me great pleasure. I maintain a logbook where all interventions, repairs, and maintenance activities are recorded, providing full documentation of all work performed on the vehicle.
