We seek to incorporate a **SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER** into our team at our office located in Belgrano, CABA. **Job Summary:** Lead the mechanical discipline in mining and industrial projects. This position involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and application of mechanical engineering principles to develop innovative solutions. **Technical Responsibilities:** * Develop conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering for pumping, heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), compressed air, fire protection, and auxiliary service systems. * Specify and select rotating equipment (pumps, fans, compressors) and static equipment (heat exchangers, tanks, thickeners). * Specify and select mining equipment associated with processing plants: mills, crushers, conveyor belts, feeders, screens, flotation cells, and solids handling equipment. * Perform technical evaluation of supplier offers jointly with Project Services. * Review quality and regulatory compliance of discipline deliverables. * Propose improvements to equipment selection procedures, specification criteria, and standard data sheets for the discipline. **Mandatory Requirements:** * Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineer. * Knowledge of international codes (ASME B31\.3, ASME VIII, API 610, ASHRAE, NFPA). * Proficiency in AutoCAD, Plant 3D, and Navisworks. **Desirable Requirements:** * Technical English. * Valid provincial professional license. * Experience with reference mining clients and lithium, copper, gold, and silver projects. * Experience in industrial HVAC applications at high altitude (Puna) and in corrosive environments. **Performance Indicators (KPIs):** * Discipline deliverable on-time completion rate (% on\-time delivery). * Internal (QA/QC) and client review-driven rework level. * Equipment specification accuracy (change orders post-purchase originating from the discipline). * Variance between equipment budgeted cost and actual purchase order value.
